Houston-Based GB Tech Receives Boeing Performance Excellence Award (2nd year in a row)

(Houston, TX) GB Tech, Inc., a Houston science and engineering company, has been recognized by The Boeing Company with the prestigious 2009 Boeing Performance Excellence Award.

GB Tech has been a Boeing supplier for over ten years and has provided systems engineering and integration, safety, reliability and quality engineering and project engineering for the Shuttle and International Space Station programs.

Founded by Gale E. Burkett and L. Jean Burkett in 1985, GB Tech is a full service logistics, engineering and information technology company providing services to the aerospace industry. GB Tech also provides services to commercial and local government entities, which need expert assistance managing and supporting the new information technology resources.

Other awards presented to GB Tech include United Space Alliances SDB of the Year, NASA’s Minority Subcontractor of the Year and the SBA Entrepreneurial Success Award.
